Looking back at the beautiful mountain tops. All in all we saw amazing landscapes, beautiful sunsets, deer, frogs, trout, lizards, squirrels, marmots, two snakes, and were sung to sleep by the howl of coyotes. Memories that will last a life time.
Before leaving Twin Lakes, we thought we'd take a photo of this sizable lake. The channel narrows at the far end then expands back into another lake this size, hence the name.

While driving around to pick up my car on highway 108, the helicopter gun ship on the left was preparing to take off from the High Mountain Warfare Training Camp. In fact, after grabbing my car, as we drove past he flew right behind me and over Andra's car. Very cool.

Well I hope you enjoyed our adventure in both photos and movies. Andra and I discussed the level of effort and determination needed to take these types of trips while out on the trail and recognized why so few people have what it takes to do this and enjoy it. However, at the very least, we will continue to bring back the wondrous beauty few will ever see in our photos.

Until next time, your friends in the woods,
Mike & Andra
P.S. Did you find all six occurrences of Jay's face?
