We made camp in the evening, and the next morning our first stop was the Lassen National Park Visitors Center. They were building it the last time we passed by and it was interesting to see all the environmental nonsense they posted about it. How the trees were specially selected, etc, etc. Made me want to puke. Yes we should all hover six inches off the planet surface as not to disturb the bacteria. Amazing how much sucking up to the environmental wacko's they do just to build a simple visitor's center. |

Here Andra and Brian stand in front of the specially selected logs that will, by their very good looks, be the equivalent of removing 100,000 cars from the roads (cough). | ||
We continued on after leaving the propaganda center to explore the Subway Cave. Before venturing inside, we had some lunch at one of the near by picnic tables. |
