At the Sulfur Works, this fumarole was probably once a large mud pot. That would explain the huge dirt mound.
On the way back, another stream along HWY 89 grabbed our attention.
Here is another scene both Andra and I photographed. My shot is on the next page. Andra accidentally turned off the scenery setting for this photo. The color is much closer between the two photos; however, her photo still contains a bit more blue.
