Yes, you guessed it, the next morning it's a winter wonderland. Although the storm hit a bit early, it truly was raining at 7600ft, just not at 9200ft. Dave and I tried to keep the snow load off the tents during the night and we woke to a totally different landscape.

With it still coming down we started to pull breakfast together.

It was here that I formally declared our awful fire season officially over.
