Andra takes a picture of me photographing the valley. To the left of the photo, you can see the system pushing up against the opposite side of the mountain. Our hopes of sweeping views and fantastic photographs were already dashed, we just didn't know it yet.

We've reached the Ptarmigan Tunnel. The huge steel doors are closed during the winter to keep it from packing full of snow. The park rangers deny using the doors to prevent wildlings or White Walkers from breaching The Wall.

The clouds are starting to get larger on our side as well.
