George and Andra were the first to leave our lunch spot and start around the lake.

Despite the low rain totals last winter, the lakes were quite lovely.

The many campers surrounding Wood and Buck Lakes were part of a large group of Romney supporters enjoying the great outdoors. They left these cloth signs marking the way so that the rest of their group could find the various camps. This evidence conclusively proves that other Romney supporters do go backpacking with friends, unlike my friend Chas who turns me down every year with a new longwinded excuse generally involving his wife's unexpected need for a women's retreat or some such nonsense.

George and I, being the most "religiously reclined," prayed for Chas while touching the rock and facing toward Provo, UT. I then briefly suggested rearranging the signs to lead the hapless adventures into the middle of nowhere, but Alan suggested that was "unchristian like." I'm still not clear on that point, as it wasn't like I was going to make them wander the desert for 40 years. That would have been plain mean, but I digress.
