No it is not cold. I'm wearing the jacket simply to avoid soaking myself in DEET. By leaning forward toward the fire, the heat keeps the mosquitoes off my face and hands and my collar covers my neck. This was certainly not a bad year for mosquitoes, but I did suffer a few bites by the time we left. | ||
This is the final picture Andra snapped on our way out. These unshaded trail segments were very draining. After navigating this long canyon, we eventually ground our way up a set of switchbacks before descending back down to the Crabtree trailhead. I hope you enjoyed the photos and managed to find any occurrences of Jay hidden within the photos. |
