Despite the erroneous sign suggesting no beach access, there was a staired trail down to the beach. It was steep, slippery and likely unusable at high tide, but that is different than "no beach access."

Looking north you can see how little beach there is and can imagine what happens to this small beach at high tide.

After climbing down from the trail we stand in the gulch made by the stream behind us as it flows into the ocean.
