We're now about 1.5 miles from Miller Lake. This is Matterhorn Canyon with Sawtooth Ridge in the back left of the photo. We must descend to the bottom before turning west (behind the camera) and heading to Benson Pass. From the bottom of Matterhorn Canyon, Benson Pass seems a lot higher!
