In order to get all our gear to Alaska, we bought 3 army duffle bags. These along with one rolling suitcase and my gun case, rounded out our luggage. We each had an 80lb limit. The small plane our outfitter was using had strict weight limits. Although the outfitter was providing tents, pads, rafts and cookware, we had a hard time squeezing under the limit. Nearly 20lbs (mostly food) ended up left on our kitchen table.

We've made it to Seattle, WA and we are about to board this turbo prop to Anchorage.

After napping for 8 hours at the Anchorage airport, the next day we boarded this Ravn Air turbo prop to Aniak. It was a beautiful day to fly over hundreds of miles of wilderness.
