As we climb from about 9200ft to 10,500ft, we enjoy the surprisingly good weather. Some mosquitoes in the shady areas, but overall, a pleasant hike. The big smile on Dawg's face says it all.

Our first snow encounter. I could have gone down and around, but I wanted to see if I could squeeze through the crack and remain on the trail. You can see this snow bank is about 6ft high (the top of my head). Although I managed my way through, my big pack would have gotten stuck. Hopefully, this melts away before we return.
