Dawg's object navigation is second to none. This log isn't going to hold up to Mr. Immenseness for too many more years as the heartwood continues to rot.

We wandered around on the mountain side following along where the trail should have been, but didn't find it. Eventually tired of bushwhacking along the mountainside, we decided to head back to camp. Ironically, taking a different path on our way back, we ran into the trail. As is commonly the case, the trail was quite a bit off from where the map showed it to be. I'm used to this nonsense as many maps are based on old surveys before the advent of modern technologies. This is where people that are deranged destination seekers have a miserable time, while we have a great journey and fun time.
