Another look back at Spicer Meadow Reservoir. Again, you can see just how much we've come up. We haven't really done much significant mileage, but I'm already exhausted. We're not even close to halfway to our next camp, nor have we reached our peak elevation. The day we hiked 12 miles before reaching water, I was tired. Before this day is over, I'll look back on that day like standing in line at a buffet.
We've reached the spring at the headwaters of the creek we've been following. We saw a big doe and buck near here. Where are those hunters we saw earlier?
This burnt section of forest starts to remind me of The Book of Eli. I ask Dawg to start looking for ugly looking cats.
