| Remember the wasters of your tax dollars I mentioned earlier? This extensive rock work is very old. Some of the stones are more than 200lbs in size. Beautiful work, done by a generation not filled with whiny socialist liberals. That tree that is growing out of the middle of it will eventually destroy the rock work with its expanding roots and block the trail that past generations generously built for us. No one has maintained this trail in many years. There were huge downed trees across the trail all over the place, making equestrian traffic impossible. The huge logs have no bark left and many are already starting to decay. That tells me the useless forest service responsible for mismanaging the forest nationwide and that are directly responsible for the massive fires we now get each year, only spend your tax dollars to issue permits to use the land, you own. Doing forest management and maintaining trails is a foreign concept to them. Randomly putting out forest fires is not management. It only allows the fuel load to grow to ridiculous levels. Being a drought year, with fires already banned, I'm not carrying my small saw or I'd have cut the small tree off myself. |
