The restful bliss is now over. Today we must hike back out to the "half way" camp. Packed up, we head back up the trail towards the pass. The climb from this side is not quite as bad. Our camp was at about 8300ft, so we only have to climb up just over 1600ft from this side.
Some side streams cut through the area as they make their way down to join the West Walker River.
