Thank you Tamas for reminding me of this important view. Why am I stopped looking at this break in the trees? Well, this is what is on tap for tomorrow. We get one nights rest at the valley bottom and then we are off for the single most vertical elevation climb of our trip. We zig and zag up that valley until we reach the dark area before the shear granite, then we turn left and climb steeply into the mountains before turning north over Silver pass at 10,745 feet and then down to Squaw Lake. "Somehow, I get the feeling that your rear end is puckering up."
Here is a closer look.

Well, enough prognostication, first we have to get to the bottom of the valley!
