Yes, my pants are too big for me. I did drop all my winter fat from last year before this trip, but that isn't the problem. I need to buy 33" waists and the last company to offer such sizes (Dockers) stopped making odd sizes 15 years ago. 32s are wearable during the most active part of the summer, but are uncomfortable in winter and I feel like I'm jiggling my water bladder into its pack when attempting to put them on in the off season. So all of my pants are 34" waists and are a bit big for me even in the winter. I can't wear a belt under my pack belt for obvious reasons, but the pack belt squeezes my pants in place making it unnecessary. So every time I take my pack off, I either need to put my belt on, or manually hold my pants up. Millennials - a belt is a device your generation didn't see nearly enough of, and can also be used to hold up one's pants. |
