It was very cold up here so we retired early to the tent. You can see who rates on these trips. Do I get snuggled? Noooooo!
When we get up the next morning everything is frozen. The roof of our tent has a layer of ice formed when our warm moist breath condensed layer after layer. I let Dawg out to go pee, and he returned before I could get dressed. Mr. Klimatovich proceeded to voice his displeasure that we were still in the warm tent and he was not being allowed back in for a morning nap. Once I get some warm cloths on, I walk down to the Lake for some water. Dawg goes down for a drink and is startled when he terrifies 3 ducks hiding at the lake shore. I don't want him soaking wet in sub-freezing temperatures, so I ask him not to go in after them. You can see the warm fog rising from the lake. |

Not sure what happened to this photo. Fogged up lens? However, Andra really liked it and wanted it included. You can see the ducks have calmed themselves once they realized Dawg was not going to pursue.
