Today was all about climbing and we started off with some strange weather. The weather forecast we had from Saturday predicted sunny skies with the exception of Monday. This morning it had already rained on us. The cool hiking temperatures were welcome on a day where we must climb from about 7900 to over 10,200 feet.
Andra notes the general stupidity of government workers by posting a sign with no date on it. Years from now when the sign is worn and tattered, it will still be warning of something that happened during the Pliocene epoch. Get a clue morons and date your warnings.
It is hard to believe that we were camped at the bottom near the far end of the valley just a short while ago. Hard for you maybe, but we lived it rather than reading about someone else's vacation you lazy bastards. Get off the couch!
