Dawg cools off in the creek. I wet his chest and belly for him. Some times he will dunk his belly by laying down and getting back up, but if the water is moving too fast, he often does not. We are well over 10k and are losing shade from the trees. Heat coupled with thin air can be a bad combination. Best to remain hydrated and cool.

The creek has many cascades and waterfalls.

We have intersected with the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail). It is now grand central station with human infestation.
