After breakfast we set out to continue even further south. Before we left I took another photo of Falls Creek so you can see the entire mountain across from us. |

The cool thing about the spring is that there are cascades and waterfalls everywhere. |

Dawg checks to see if the old man is still coming. He is in front, but I am leading. If I turn off trail or stop, I do not call him. If I walk out of sight, he must find me. This trains him to constantly keep an eye on me. He never goes very far without turning back to see I'm still with him. If he sees me turning off trail, he sprints back to my area and heads off in my new direction. If I stop for more than a few seconds, he returns to my position. This keeps him in a small zone around my position at all times and prevents me from yelling for him all the time. He is normally within 200ft of me at all times, most often within 60ft. |
