We reached one of two ponds along the Cascade Creek Trail.

This is not a pond. This is Cascade Creek. One part of it is coming in from Bonnie Lake and the other part from Harriet Lake. In this wide area you can see just how much
water is flowing. All this water gets compressed into that narrow channel dropping into the canyon with the Walker River. The water levels were so high and moving so fast,
the PCT hikers were going off trail upstream and back down to avoid the worst of it. We ran into one coming down the creek who asked if we could direct him back to the
trail. I walked him down and back on course.

The first picture was a stitched panoramic. This is a bit narrower version.
